Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Properties, you will be responsible for delivering project(s) located in Hong Kong and other regional offices, providing strategic and tactical project management support within the Project Management team, for the direction of specified projects undertaken by the team. The role will be focused on the oversight and successful delivery of projects within the Asia region, although input into a number of global initiatives, including updating, refining and creating process and procedures for use within the wider project teams both regionally and globally, will also fall within the responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise and co-ordinate with the other functional teams within the Property group and wider Corporate Services department. Full Project Management responsibilities will include management and reporting, global interfacing, creating of standards manual of financial documentation, processes and procedures, project overview, feasibility studies, scheme design, detailed design, construction and handover.
The Successful Applicant:
Degree qualified in architecture or interior design is preferred, although an engineering or QS degree would also be considered, you will have at least 10 years experience as a Project Manager, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity within a premium service corporate environment. It is essential that you have experience of managing projects in Asia, and membership of a professional project management association with a recognized professional qualification will be favorably looked upon. Financial services sector would be advantageous, as would a solid network of contacts within the construction industry across consultants, contractors and suppliers. Fluency in English is essential and knowledge of other Asian languages would be advantageous.
