Job Description:
Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for designing a full range of functional sports and lifestyle apparel across men's and ladies' categories for the Asia market. Working closely with the product development and merchandising teams, you will create and develop appropriate collections responsive to the latest market trends and the brand's corporate directions. You will prepare seasonal inspiration boards as well as hand sketches, illustrations, technical drawings and color concepts. You will ensure directional and effective communication with the counterparts within the region while conducting market research and providing feedback on how to position the brand in the most effective manner.
The Successful Applicant:
To qualify, you will have a minimum of three years' experience in fashion design with a relevant exposure in functional sportswear and lifestyle apparel preferably with China market exposure. You will have a strong understanding of fashion and market trends as well as having a good sense of consumer tastes and behavior. A sound technical background coupled with extensive experience in product development is highly sought. A creative designer, you will possess excellent presentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Designer.
