Job Description:
Working as part of corporate accounting team in Beijing
Monitor and calculate transfer pricing between various affiliates.
Provide analysis to the business to ascertain compliance within underwriting limits.
Prepare and review of monthly financial, regulatory, tax and statistical reporting to the Chinese regulators under China GAAP.
Prepare and review quarterly management reporting under US GAAP.
Review and monitor daily net capital calculation to ensure compliance in regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors during year-end audits and special audits.
Involve in wide range of projects and initiatives.
Participate in projects related to reporting enhancements and continuous automation of existing processes.
The Successful Applicant:
First class fluency in English and Chinese - written and spoken.
CPA or equivalent international (not local) qualification.
4+ years of Big 4 with investment banking or financial services clients OR 5+ years solid working experience in accounting field with multinational financial services companies.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and China GAAP.
Must be able to work independently and mature in problem solving
Hard working, strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Vocal in suggesting improvements but also modest and open minded to learn from others.
Knowledge of Peoplesoft GL, RDW and HFM preferred but not required.
