In order to built up a pesticide residue analysis unit as part of our Food Testing Lab
in Souzhou/China we are looking for a
Expert in Food Analysis (Team Leader) (Reference 4-105/2008/0800-1)
Your Position:
• Build-up, training and leadership of a small team of lab co-workers
• Support the installation and operation of our residue analysis units for the analysis of all kind of food/feed matrices and/or other general food analysis units in the newly established laboratory in Suzhou/China, based on a Know-How Transfer Process from Germany
• Performance of GC and HPLC measurements coupled with mass spectrometry (including instrument maintenance)
• Securing European quality standards
• The position is located for at least 2 – 3 years
• An Expat Contract in Souzhou/China
Your Qualifications:
• Successfully completed studies of food chemistry or comparable studies (e.g. graduated engineer)
• A requirement is some experience in food analysis
• Good GC and HPLC knowledge (especial mass spectrometric detectors)
• Proven experience in maintaining analytical instruments
• Beneficial is experience with quality assurance systems (e.g. practice in an accredited lab)
• Team player and stress-resistant
• Hands-on working style
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in leadership of small team is beneficial
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to Asian culture/ mentality and communication style
• Fluent English language skills
