Job Description:
Reporting directly to the local Managing Director and indirectly to US Corporate Headquarters, you will have responsibility for the total finance function in Asia. You will be responsible fro all monthly and quarterly reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and executing financial procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley principles. Key duties will include preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts and managing the treasury and tax position. You will also liaise extensively with external parties such as bankers, lawyers and auditors.
The Successful Applicant:
You will be degree qualified and possess at least 10 years post qualification accounting experience with multinational corporations, ideally in the manufacturing sector. Expertise in US GAAP and SOX is desirable as is knowledge of foreign exchange and cost accounting issues. First-rate interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills coupled with strong business acumen are sought as facilitating cohesiveness in the management team will be a key focus. Fluency in English and either Chinese or Portuguese is essential.
