Our client is a leading manufacturer in the electronics industry with subsidiaries across Mainland China and Hong Kong. The company's specialization is the production of fuses, batteries, and power distribution systems.
Job Description:
Direct report to the President, station in Xiamen and providing overall leadership for leading the factory operation including administration, production process, engineering, quality, material planning, supplier management and other activities like business development and product development / enhancement.
Responsible for overall production schedule flow and operation of production lines, monitor the production processes and resources allocation to improve productivity and efficiency.
Achieve company objectives particularly for target volume, profitability, quality and timeliness productivity in line with the corporate business plan.
Review, suggest and implement measures to enhance productivity, reduce production lead time and wastage.
Develop system and procedures to maximize operational efficiency.
Responsible to fulfill the ISO:2000, ISO:2004, RoHS, or equivalent domestic and international quality standards or directives.
Establish and maintain good working relationship with various PRC government departments.
The Successful Applicant:
Bachelor / Diploma holder preferably in Production, Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Operational Management and / or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years solid experience in manufacturing field at managerial role in China and preferably with experience in electronics component, electronics, electrical, quality management and / or equivalent.
Proficient in PRC labor law, customs and taxation requirement, import and export regulations.
Preferably with IPO experience in China, but not necessary.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing and fast-changing business environment in China.
Visionary and able to lead and take up new business projects.
Understand the Chinese culture.
Crisis management with ability to problem-solve independently.
Strong leadership skills and communication skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
