Product manager plays a critical role in a company's product generation process. From initial concept, product definition, pricing to new product introduction, product manager either deeply involves or plays a leading role.
Key responsibilities include,
- Analyze customer needs and generate customer requirements, work with R&D team in generating product definition. - Monitor market and technology trend and develop market model for specific product category. - Monitor competitors’ activities and deliver competitive analysis - Develop product structure and define pricing strategy, manage the CPL process. - Manage key customer relationship and lead beta site test program - Develop marketing and new product introduction (NPI) plan and lead the NPI program worldwide - Develop marketing collaterals in English and Chinese - Provide order forecast for new product ramp up.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master Degree in electronic engineering, plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience, with typically 5 to 8 years of practical experience. - Working experience in electronics or communications industry with direct exposure to test & measurement equipment. Or direct working experience in test and measurement industry. - Good business sense and judgment, combined working experience in both technical related areas and marketing related areas is preferred - Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, in both oral and writing. - Reputation of team player and influencer, able to work effectively across organization. - Works effectively in areas of high ambiguity
