About Our Client Our client is one of the world's largest tire companies in the world with over 70 plants in 29 countries. Due to the company's growth, a new opportunity has been created in the Global Sourcing division in the Shanghai headquarter

Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Sourcing you will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing a small team to coordinate all logistics operations with suppliers and internal customers to ensure business goals are met and exceeded
  • Negotiating monthly production plans with key suppliers and resolving all major delivery and supply issues.
  • Supplier and internal customer relationship management
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of all products globally.
  • Effectively manage end to end supply chain processes including key MIS and reporting for Senior Management

The Successful Applicant: The successful candidate would have 5-8 years supply chain management experience in a global manufacturing MNC. You must have experience of working for an IPO with an emphasis on supplier development and logistics. You will have a strong track record of improving supplier on-time delivery performance and internal customer satisfaction. Experience in SAP is highly desired as is the ability to multitask and prioritise projects simultaneously. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential as this role will be the global contact for all supply chain issues.
