Job Description:
Be responsible for managing all processes involved in a supply chain. This includes liaising with suppliers of products, service vendors and internal or external customers.
Supervise the logistic function including transportation, warehousing and quality control. It involves ensuring structures or mechanisms are in place to monitor the flow of goods inbound or outbound and qualified services delivered to our customers.
Take the leading role in ERP/SAP system on logistic field of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and performance evaluation.
Proactively co-ordinate all processes to ensure customer satisfaction. An awareness of and strategic response to external influences, such as legislation, is vital.
The Successful Applicant:
Bachelor Degree or above in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related subject.
8+ years work experience with at least 5 years supply management hands-on experience in similar industry or multi-national company environment with a focus on: Warehousing/Inventory Management/Demand Planning; Transportation; Import/Export/Customs; 3PL management.
Good project management and negotiation skills with multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to communicate with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds effectively, and develop their supply chain and interpersonal skills.
A good team leader as well as a team player.
PC and ERP literate with SAP experience preferred.
Fluent both in English and Mandarin.
