NewChinaCareer.com is a fun, energetic, well-funded startup company with a passion for online recruitment and for doing things a little differently. We are the first and the largest English language job board targeting mainland China and the Hong Kong region. We serve a wide range of recruiters, from large multinationals and small regionally-based businesses, to recruitment consultants and recruitment advertising agencies. Jobseekers using our site come from all over the Asia Pacific region, Europe, America and from all industries and functional roles.
Responsibilities:
• Initiates outbound calls to new NewChinaCareer.com customers
• Identifies prospects and builds loyal customer relationships via telephone and face to face meetings.
• Consistently moves the customer or prospect towards commitment, and closes sales that exceed customer expectations
• Able to function in a highly transactional sales volume environment
• Presents key selling points/features and benefits while focusing on customer needs and expectations
• Demonstrates persistence, tenacity, ability to overcome obstacles, and strives to achieve goals
• Delivers benefit statements, handles objections, & records statistics on each outbound call
• Ensures a superior customer experience with NewChinaCareer.com
• Having fun with the crew (except on Mondays which, of course, usually suck)
Qualifications:
• Previous sales or outbound call center experience (lead generation, prospecting, or cold calling (minimum 6 months or more). Experience may have been gained through college work study, retail, fundraising experience, etc.
• You work hard, you play hard. You have a life, but you still check your email before you go to bed & when you wakeup.
• Familiar with working in an incentive/goal driven environment
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills
• You love technology and great products - Surfing the web isn’t just fun, its part of you. You read blogs, and you might even have your own
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of the recruitment industry, experience selling to Human Resources would be an great advantage
• You are fluent in English and Cantonese or Mandarin
• track-record of success in sales
• You are a Hong Kong ID holder
• Search engine or online recruitment industry experience is preferred, but not required.
• Being an optimist (after all, you are in Sales!)
You should be a bright, tenacious individual who is hungry for success in a sales-orientated organization. You possess the self-confidence to deal realistically with large blue chip companies, top search firms and large institutions. You have a sufficiently clear focus and robust resilience to work effectively in our extremely challenging market. Your potential is more important than your course of study or background.
