This is a senior position within the Business Information Systems service team which provides support for all of Global Business Reporting requirements. This position will focus on troubleshooting issues regarding extraction, loading of critical business information from our ERP systems into our SAP Business Warehouse as well as issues regarding report design. Additionally, this role will focus on continuous improvement to the solution through bug fixes and some solution enhancements / developments.
Main Responsibilities and Objectives:
As a Senior BI Specialist you will:
Implement continuous improvement projects (shorten data loads time, improve reports response time, improve BW Portal)
Develop bug fixes and enhancements
Resolve incidents to meet aggressive resolution targets
Work closely with the Business Information Management Group, process drivers, Global Design Leads and colleagues in the BIS team to resolve incidents and build good rapport with end users.
Qualifications Professional Skills & Competences
The candidate should possess:
Experience of 4-6 years in SAP BI/BW Extraction & Loading and Report creation and at least one year experience in BI7
Minimum 2 full cycles of medium/complex BW implementations
Hands on experience in designing and building BW solutions
Good knowledge of interfacing SAP BW to other SAP products (FICO, APO, etc)
Other areas that would be a plus:
o SAP BW certification
o Good Financial / Accounting knowledge
o SAP Netweaver 7.0
o SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0
o BIA administration
